In our efforts to continue to improve the services that we provide to the members of our district and the surrounding areas. We are in the final phases of increasing our personnel's abilities when they respond to your calls for assistance.

How we are doing this -

1. We have certified all of our personnel who need it, in Basic Life Support/CPR/Automatic External Defibrillator. This clears the way for these personnel to take the Emergency Medical Responder (First Responder). By the second week of November, we will be complete with this. This will mean that the personnel that you have responding to your calls for assistance are going to be trained to a higher level than they are currently for the most part. (Remembering that we currently have a 2 Registered Nurses and a Nationally Registered Emergency Technician - Basic(NREMT-B)), this task brings the minimal level training of 100% of people to this level.

2. We additionally have a member that is planning on moving on to NREMT-B once graduating from High School.

3. Finally we have one of our Officers who is IFSAC Certified Fire/Arson Investigator Trained, and will be moving forward in other aspects of fire investigation. So, all of these are increasing our abilities that we are able to provide.

NOTE: We want to remind those in our district that if they need CPR training, they can find the form requesting the class. It is preferable that the request is for multiple personnel (no more than 6 at a time please. If you do have more than that, please note that and provide the dates you are interested in and we can set up multiple dates).
